NETWORKING TROUBLESHOOTING STEPS AND TOOLS - Several tools are available for you to use to diagnose and threaten network issues.

Check hardware - Ensure that all the cables, devices, switches, and routers are working properly.

Use ipconfig - Type ipconfig in the command prompt to find the network's ip and default gateway.

Use nslookup - Use the command nslookup to check for server issues. if the result is "refused", "timeout", or "server failure" the problem may be with the destination URL's DNS server.

Use speedtest.net - This tool can measure your internet speed, which can help you troubleshoot the internet connection issues.

Use traceroutes - also known as tracert, this monitoring tool can help network engineers understand their network and identify security threats.

Conclusion - Network troubleshooting can be stressful at the best times. Having clear steps to follow, an arsenal of best practices, and robust monitoring tools.
